Volunteer centers provide the human capital necessary to provide the essential services of community organizations. The centers support diverse populations in communities by engaging them in meaningful opportunities that build skills, employment readiness, networks and social awareness. We help build vibrant communities through civic engagement, within a framework of diversity and inclusiveness, while providing training and education to voluntary sector leaders, community members and nonprofit organizations . We provide opportunities for youth leadership, retirement engagement, newcomer engagement, volunteer recruitment, retention and recognition.

The staff of the volunteer centers are made up of specialists in the field of volunteer management and engagement, educated and trained to offer quality programs and inform communities about current legislation and best practices. Volunteer Centers help organizations manage risk and adopt policies to help maintain safe, vibrant, volunteer-led organizations and communities. When volunteers are properly recruited, trained, engaged and supported, their contribution to communities is invaluable.
